Food Science

To simply put, food science is the study of food. It involves the study of the Physical, biological and chemical nature of food. Food science also comprises evaluation of food processing, packaging and safety. Food Composition Databases exist, which lists details information sets on the nutritional value and components of a particular food, which is its carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, and fiber content. The properties of food are our concern and its make-up forms the core of the topic of discussion at Food Summit 2019 conference.
